Aude Abou Nasr is a Lebanese – French illustrator and artist based in Beirut (Lebanon). She works with independent media and platforms in the Middle-East and Europe, illustrating voices that thrive to give a more relevant, accurate and critical understanding of the changes operating in both regions, within diasporas, and among some of the communities she belongs to. Her work has been featured in magazines such as My Kali, Kohl Journal, Gal-dem, Skin Deep, Shado Mag, Womena, Futuress, Bricks, Vice UK, Architectural Review, Araborama, Mashallah News and Samandal.
She also works alongside initiatives like Queering the Map, and with grassroots NGOs and initiatives, among which the Half of Syria campaign, Egna Legna, and 0602 Project that she co-founded.
Finally, she shares her own illustrated stories along the way as illustration series, comics and animations.
