Hanan Youssef is an artist who comes from an architectural background. She found herself immersed in drawing and painting at a young age, and as such decided to turn her passion into her career. As any experienced artist, Hanan has taken part in many workshops both in Egypt and abroad. Furthermore, she has held her own watercolor workshops for children and adults. Hanan enjoys experimenting with different styles, themes, and mediums – oil, acrylics, watercolors, and pastels. This adds a certain variety and depth to her artwork.

Hanan Youssef has held seven solo exhibitions: “Art and Soul” at Salah Taher Hall, Cairo Opera House in 2012; “Asalit Baladna” at Atelier el Qahira in 2013; “The Charm of Water” at Duroub Gallery in 2015; “The Colors of Joy” at Duroub Gallery in 2017; “Acceptance” ‘الرضا’ at Picasso East Gallery in November 2018; “She” ‘هي’ at The Egyptian Cultural Center in London in March 2019; “Blessed” ‘نِعَم لا تحصى’ at Picasso Gallery Zamalek in March 2021; “Experimental Journey” ‘رحله تجريبيه’ at Picasso East Gallery in October 2022; and “Spread Your Wings” ‘افردي جناحك’ at Picasso Gallery in Zamalek in March 2023. Additionally, she has also participated in several group exhibitions in private galleries and a few organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
