Graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 2012, Melissa Chalhoub has directed and sound designed many experimental short films, and has been working as a visual artist and illustrator, translating what she learned from movie making onto paper. Melissa Chalhoub took part in many art fairs around the world, from Egypt, Amsterdam, Barcelona to Tokyo.
Chalhoub published a book with illustrations of Arabic song lyrics named “Badly Translated Arabic Songs” and has worked on commissions for newspapers, magazines, album art covers and more, as well as collaborations. She is working now as a Graphic artist Freelancer based in Beirut, Lebanon.
