Moira Ali is an Egyptian graphic designer and illustrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Faculty of Applied Sciences & Arts at the German University in Cairo (GUC), and holds a master’s degree from L’École Européenne Supérieure d’Arts de Bretagne (Eesab) in Lorient, France.
Since 2016, Moira has been working as an independent graphic designer in the Cairene cultural scene. She has specifically designed publications and print designs for independent cultural centers and artistic institutions such as the Contemporary Image Collective (CIC), Cairo Contemporary Dance Center (CCDC), Mahattat, The Bussy Project, The Choir Project, Seen Films, ElMahrousa and ElMaraya publishing houses. She currently works as an instructor at the German University in Cairo, where she teaches information design, illustration, visual communication and supervises on bachelor projects.
