Harrabi is a visual artist, editor, documentary filmmaker and cultural practitioner.

After several experiences in different cultural media in Tunisia as a journalist, video creator, chief editor and communication manager, she found her path in audiovisual collaborations with artists and young artistic collectives in Tunisia and abroad. In 2021, she participated in WOMEN IN DOX program which allows the exchange and acquisition of the necessary skills between storytelling professionals to write, direct and produce a documentary film in a women’s collective. Two documentaries were produced and screened at several film festivals such as FESPACO in Ouagadougou (2021), Oberhausen Short Film Festival in Germany (2022) and Medfilm Festival in Italy (2022).

Her video work has been showcased in various visual art group shows and festivals such as A FAMILY OF HUMANS in Switzerland, TOURIST IN YOUR OWN TOWN in Germany, DREAM CITY and CINEMA GABES FAN in Tunisia.

Currently, she is finishing the post-production of her first feature documentary film, PASSENGERS, which tells the story of eight inhabitants of an old building in downtown Tunis who found themselves isolated and facing their solitude and the banality of their daily lives during the first lockdown in Tunisia.

In addition to her filmmaking endeavors, Rim serves as a promoter and host for her monthly show SARAB on Radio Sygma. Through this show, she introduces audiences to sonic experimentations and music from the SWANA region. Particularly noteworthy is her recent curation of a 69-track solidarity compilation for Palestine under the SARAB banner.

She is currently the co-founder and co-manager of TRANSMITTING STONES, a community platform of contemporary music that allows the cultural exchange and creation between Tunisia, Algeria and Switzerland.
