Born in Damascus in 1990, she graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Damascus in 2013. Her surrealist paintings focus on the human body and its relationship with war, whether with distorted parts, abstract shapes, or as composite elements in hybrid shapes. After her graduation, Waad exhibited in several joint exhibitions and workshops in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Switzerland, and recently held her first solo exhibition at The Box Gallery in Jordan.
She resides in Jordan and holds Jordanian citizenship
